Neurological physiotherapy is a form of treatment that specialises in restoring physical function in people following damage to the central nervous system. Examples of conditions where this occurs include Stroke, Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, Traumatic Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury and Motor Neurone Disease.
Often a neurological problem can impact greatly on a person's sensation, co-ordination, balance and movement. Consequently everyday activities like getting dressed, brushing your teeth and walking become difficult to perform.
We at the Chelmsford Physio Clinic provide a specialist service targeting these problems in a friendly and supportive environment.
Your physiotherapist will perform a comprehensive assessment specific to you. We will discuss your own personal goals which you hope to achieve with the aid of physiotherapy. Treatments can be performed in your home or in our clinic's rehab gym. Experience has informed us that people respond to treatment better initially at home as specific problems of daily life can be practiced in the optimal environment.
Treatments which we provide include;
Initial consultation £80 (60 minutes)
Follow-up Treatment £40 (30 minutes)
We are registered with all major medical insurance providers
